Chandi J. Wyant, President and founder of Sogni Italiani/Italian Dreams and personally oversees the wedding and travel planning of every client. Chandi's love affair with Italy began the first day she visited the country in 1984. The following year she attended a college course in Florence where she studied language, culture and history while living with an Italian family. She went on to lead tours to Italy for a cross-cultural exchange organization.

Chandi's first experience at planning weddings in Italy was for her own wedding. She slogged through daunting Italian bureaucracy and in spite many obstacles, managed to manifest a romantic wedding in Florence, and organized three different tours for various members of her wedding party, while trying to keep her head above water in a demanding job at Sun Microsystems. A year later she started Sogni Italiani. Her unique experience of organizing a wedding in Italy with no hired help puts her at an advantage in planning weddings in Italy for clients. She not only knows intimately what kind of organization is involved, but she can directly empathize with the emotional ups and downs of planning a destination wedding.

Chandi holds a Masters Degree in International Administration and Cross-Cultural Education from the School for International Training in Vermont, and a Bachelor's Degree in History with Honors from the University of California at Santa Cruz. Chandi now resides in Florence, Italy with her husband Dave.

Ben Wyant, Director of Marketing and Finance for Sogni Italiani. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University and held several corporate positions in the Bay Area before joining his sister's company.

Ben lends his savvy business skills to dealing with wedding contracts, due dates, accounting, and general financial management for the company. An accomplished cook, Ben has found inspiration in Italy's cuisine. A "beachophile" he particularly appreciates the beauty of Italy's islands. Ben lives in Santa Cruz, California and visits Italy yearly.
